We are seeking a professional, organized, and motivated candidate to join the team as an additional Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) Coordinator given the growing needs in the Rural Division.
This role supports the daily operations of the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) and will work collaboratively with the current MATP Coordinator to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely program administration, reporting to the MATP Manager.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Process and review MATP applications, verify eligibility, and ensure timely approval.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and detailed documentation in compliance with MATP program requirements and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
- Determine appropriate mode of transportation for each approved trip request based on program guidelines.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip validation to ensure service accuracy, program compliance, and proper reimbursement.
- Review, investigate, and document MATP-related incidents and accidents; assist with follow-up and reporting as required.
- Perform trip review and editing to ensure accuracy prior to billing or submission.
- Serve as a communication liaison between the Authority and MATP subcontractors.

This role is a key member of a two-person HR Generalist team and will be cross trained and expected to develop full working knowledge of every major HR functional area. This position supports and administers a wide range of essential HR functions, including but not limited to:
