Paratransit
Paratransit Service
Curb-to-curb service (unless door-to-door service is requested) for riders requiring a wheelchair lift. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires public transit agencies to provide accessible bus service to persons with disabilities.
Request for Certification of ADA Paratransit Eligibility
The information in this certification process will only be used by the Cambria County Transit Authority to determine eligibility for the provision of transportation services.
ADA Information
The Cambria County Transit Authority is committed to providing nondiscriminatory transportation services to all of its customers and potential customers. CamTran prohibits discrimination in all of its programs and services on the basis of a disability.
Rider Services
Rack and Ride
All CamTran urban division buses (the larger, blue and purple ones) are equipped with bike racks on the front of the bus.
Park and Ride
A Park & Ride service is offered by CamTran+ and is located at the former State Police Barracks across from the Cottage Inn on Route 22 in Ebensburg.
Summer Youth Passes
Get where you need to go with CamTran’s Summer Youth Pass. For only $1.00, you can ride all day on our fixed-route buses.
Reserve-A-Ride
Reserve-A-Ride service will pick you up at your door and return you to your door, in accordance with daily schedules. This service is available in Cambria and Blair counties as well as approximately 25 miles into the northern portion of Somerset county and the northwest tier of Bedford county as shown on the service map below.You must call our office at least one working day in advance before 2:00 p.m. to reserve your seat.
