Job Openings
The Cambria County Transit Authority is seeking motivated and qualified candidates for the following positions:
Operations Coordinator*
Monitor the safe operation of Authority vehicles in the Urban Division throughout the service area with regards to schedule compliance and proper road and safety practices. Handle customer complaints and inquiries and resolve effectively and professionally. Handle accidents and incidents with professionalism and discretion. Maintain records within dispatching software. This position is non-exempt. Salary range: $33,000-$37,000
Preferred experience:A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of Customer Service experience, and intermediate knowledge of computer applications, including MS Office. Preference given to those with a college degree, vast customer service experience, or a background in transportation.
Requirements:
- Must possess or obtain a valid Class B CDL with air brake restriction removed and a passenger endorsement
- Knowledge of the service area (Cambria County, Windber Borough, Altoona)
- Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills
